Our profile as a publisher

Nürnberger-Spielkarten-Verlag (NSV) develops card, dice and family games for the international market. The publications of the last few years are particularly characterized by their family-friendliness: Simple rules, short waiting times and exciting game ideas. Some of the reasons why the card and dice games have enjoyed great popularity for years.

Especially the world around the dice game nominated for “Game of the Year” in 2013 Qwixx has delighted fans for many years. Card games such as the 2015 “Game of the Year” nominee The Game or the multiple award-winning and 2018 “Game of the Year” nominee The Mind impress with simple game ideas that create special experiences.

Since 2018, the NSC has had its own range of children’s games that, among other things, promote teamwork and communication skills in children from the age of 4. The game We are the robots made it onto the list of nominees for “Children’s Game of the Year” 2020. Inspector Nose was named a “children’s game particularly worth playing”. And this was followed in 2022 for the title Exacto the educational game prize of the Games Fair Stuttgart.

With the new NATURELINE the Nürnberger-Spielkarten-Verlag set an innovative impulse for more sustainability in 2021. Free of plastic and made from environmentally friendly raw materials, the publisher’s bestsellers such as Qwixx, The Game and The Mind are now 100% sustainable.

The MINNYS-series is also on the right track with sustainable design. Small games for big fun, for on the go or at home, are part of the campaign. The first plastic-free children’s games have also been available to buy since 2022. It all started in 2022 with the children’s game Exacto, followed by Inspector Nose.
